 This is the main entrance to our Student/Parent Sitting area.Throughout the night many parents and their siblings will have sat and watched their children on our state of the art monitors and enjoyed a movie on our Big Screen Television. | Training Floor A - Dojo |
 This is the smaller of our two training rooms. This room is as traditional as you are going to get. Complete with wood walls, tatami mats for safety and a complete Shuriken and Archery Range. You can't see it but there are also climbing ropes hidden in the ceiling. |
| Training Floor B - Dojo |
 This is the larger of our two training areas and the first of our training rooms built. This room has been in existence for 17 years. At first we only trained on hard wood floors, but for the last 12 years we have had tatami mats. In this shot you can see a small picture of our Kamidana area. This is our focal point when doing meditation and bowing.  This is taken from the other side of the room looking at our Kotodama wall, which holds our active training Black Belts.  This is a larger picture of our Kamidana "our spirit shelf." Traditionally in the Japanese martial arts these prayer areas or spirit shelves were designed to pay respect to past teachers, masters and important people in our lives. Even though many of the traditions are steeped in religion such as Buddhism and Shinto - ism. We do not teach the religious aspects for any other reason then historical and classical ritual. In other words, whatever you religion and personal beliefs, they are all welcome at our schools. |

The L.I. Ninjutsu Centers opened its first location in 1991 on Higbie Lane in the heart of West Islip. Kyoshi Allie was born in Good Samaritan Hospital, graduated West Islip High School and lived in the community for his entire life. Having trained in many schools he wanted to bring the martial arts back to the community where he was raised. His first school was only 700 sq. ft. It was simply the start of all that was to come. Within less than one year they quickly grew out of their location and Kyoshi Allie decided to scout out a new location. He jumped in his vehicle and ventured out to find a new spot. Upon the first turn, he noticed a small Japanese man hanging a for rent sign on what is now know as the Hanata Headquarters, (Pictured above). It turns out that the owner was an ex Judo champion and was excited to find out his building would soon become a dojo to spread the word of his heritage having been raised in Japan and lived in a dojo his entire life. Sometimes things are just meant to be. This location is one of the eldest martial arts schools on Long Island.
