Licensed Instructors of
L.I. Ninjutsu Centers

When I met Phil for the first time he came to me in search of true Ninja Training.  He was a very advanced young man looking for the esoteric ideals and concepts of Ninjutsu.  If fact, my first recollection was him attending my "Spiritual Seminar."  The one thing that has always stood out in my mind with him is how he was always giving to others and never taking into consideration himself, truly amazing behavior for such a young man.  This was obviously due to the upbringing from his wonderful tightly knit family.

Since then I have watched Phil, grow as a young man into a mature, unbelievably capable and stable adult.  I now watch him proudly as he holds his brand new baby in his arms realizing he is a father and I am positive he will be one of the best. Phil is now a proud member of the N.Y.P.D and in my opinion a  great Black Belt.  He has traveled to Japan with me and also has traveled extensively throughout the word as my student and uke.  I am honored to have him as a Licensed instructor within my schools.  Kyoshi Allie Alberigo

About

"I have been around kids my entire life because my mother is a teacher’s aid continually surrounded by little children. From the time I was in the third grade, I would help her out. Since the third grade until the time I was 21, I was an altar server.

I was also a volunteer firefighter for several years, as I was going to college for Criminal Justice. I graduated with a BS in Police Science, and a certificate in Security from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, in Manhattan. While going to school, I participated in teaching and learning Tae Kwon Do. The entire time, I was working as a loss prevention specialist at a store in which my brother and I created a $200,000.00 security system.

I taught at East Islip dojo for several years as a Team Leader, then as an assistant instructor, then took over running the Lindenhurst Dojo in the May of 2004. I also assisted in development of what we now call our TLCD - Team Leadership Character Development Program.  I at one point ceased my fire department and police department goals, for the overpowering goal to help others though developing character and self-discipline. and teaching martial arts.  After helping Kyoshi establish schools on Long Island I decided to get back to my goal as a police officer were I currently remain employed.  I still continue to teach when ever my schedule permits and my wife is currently working toward her goal of Black Belt.

Phil's Message to students:

"My favorite quote is a message for all of the students. No matter how you want to be, how you want to act, or how you want to live, the power is in you. Health, wealth, happiness- are all attainable if you work for them. Many students are impressed with the senseis, as am I. I know however that you can become the best if you stick with it. Perserverance is a word I have lived with my whole life. Now I wear it everyday. It is on my dojo t-shirt, represented by the Nin symbol and in my heart. You can become one of us. We were all beginners once.
Good luck, train hard, stay safe, and have fun."
